    The military plan for the protection of Australia during WWII emphasised that the Industries of Newcastle had to be defended at all cost.

    The next milestone of the Fortress Newcastle Project, a 53min film by Glenn and Tony from 'Stories of Our Town' fame, Fortress Newcastle - Life Under Threat', has now been launched at Fort Scratchley.

    A major exhibition of all the details of the FORTRESS Story will be launched at Fort Scratchley on Anzac Day 2022. Details soon.
