  • VIDEO PRODUCTION for Fortress Newcastle
    Friday, August 20 2021 @ 11:10 PM
    Contributed by: bobcook

Fortress Newcastle video Production is progressing rapidly.
A documentary of the important role that Newcastle industries served in production for the war effort, is being told by those who lived through it. We are interviewing everyone we can find who lived in Newcastle during WWII.
Please contact NIHA if you know anyone that could contribute to this production.

The initial production involves video recording interviews, which will form the storyline of this important documentary. Approximately 20 interviews are expected to be conducted.
Many of the 17 persons interviewed so far are over 90 years old.
Research is almost completed for the exhibition and website components of the project. We will be advising launch date soon, for a large exhibition to be held early in 2022.
